Basic Colour Skills is an elective course; an in-depth study of colour.
It addresses the subject colour as an important tool for the industrial designer. It refers emotions, experience, appreciation, and to specific functionality. It defines a large share of the visual representation of design and the perception thereof. The practical experience of analyzing, mixing, implementing, searching for colour harmony and changing colours is needed to apply and master colour in product design and visualizations. The course provides background theory and teaches how to apply hue, saturation and brightness when visualization a specific object/ arrangement/ scene. The course comprises a series of subsequent exercises in the drawing studios, and homework assignments, in which the topics of colour and visualization will be discussed, extensively exercised, and implemented in design situations Download the brochure here. |
