In concept design it is of great importance to be able to generate ideas and to judge them or let them be judged.
Making sketches and drawings does not only stimulate learning to see proportions, but also trying to imagine how something can be made. Associative thinking can lead to different solutions and different paths for searching. Drawing, as well as making a three-dimensional (sketch-)model, belongs to the basis of designing. |
